One of Luanda’s oldest markets, located in Sambizanga. A lively hub of Angola’s informal economy, offering a true glimpse into daily life. - Iron Palace (Stop at)
A mysterious 1880s structure, believed to be inspired by Gustav Eiffel. Known for its intricate ironwork and exhibitions of Angolan artists. - 4th of February Avenue (Stop at)
Luanda’s iconic waterfront promenade. A beautiful bay-side walk featuring palm trees, modern skyscrapers, and a refreshing ocean breeze. - Ilha do Cabo (Ilha de Luanda) (Drive through)
A 7 km peninsula, once tied to the Kingdom of Kongo where shells were used as currency. Today, it’s a bustling beach and leisure area with restaurants and hotels. - Fortress of São Miguel (Stop at)
Built in the 17th century by Paulo Dias de Novais, the first Portuguese governor of Luanda. Now home to the National Museum of Military History, displaying tanks, colonial-era weapons, and azulejos illustrating Angola’s history, fauna, and flora. - Cidade Alta (Drive through)
Luanda’s prestigious “Upper City,” where the Presidential Palace and key government institutions are located. - Mausoleum of Agostinho Neto (Stop at)
