Itinerary
Day 1: Luanda City Tour
- Luanda city tour including Mausoleum of Agostinho Neto, Cidade Alta, Iron Palace, 4th of February Avenue Fortress of São Miguel
- Have some lunch
- Transfer to Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport (NBJ) for an afternoon flight to Lubango.
- Transfer to the hotel in Lubango.
- Accommodation: (Pululukwa Lodge).
Day 2: Mumuila Tribe Market
- Immerse in Angolan cultural heritage with the Mumuila people.
- Discover traditional dances, handicrafts, and community life.
- Visit Tudavala Cliff with panoramic mountain views
- Accomodation: Pululukwa Hotel
Day 3: Mucubal Tribe
- Visit the Mucubais tribes, nomadic cattle herders.
- Learn about their traditions, crafts, and hospitality.
- Visit of Cristo Rei Catholic Chapel, offers panoramic views of the city and surrounding valleys
- Serra da Leba, a dramatic mountain pass with breathtaking curves and viewpoints
- Humbata Water falls, Cascading waters surrounded by lush vegetation make this a peaceful spot for nature lovers and photographers
- Accommodation: Camping at Mucubal Tribe
Day 4: Namibe Desert & Welwitschia Plant
- Explore the Namib Desert, one of the world’s oldest.
- Discover the ancient Welwitschia plant, a unique desert species.
- Accommodation: Iona OR Chik Chik Hotel
Day 5: Benguela
- Early morning long drive to Benguela
- Visit Caotinha beach nearby for great views and swim option
- Lunch at Benguela city
- In late afternoon drive to Lobito
- Accommodation: Lobito (Hotel Terminus Lobito).
Day 6: Sumbe
- Explore the Sassa Caves, full of stalactites and stalagmites.
- Admire the Binga Waterfall, a spectacular natural site.
- Accommodation: Muconga Farm
Day 7: Calandula Falls & Black Rocks
- After breakfast we drive to Calandula Falls
- Stop at Black Rocks (Pedras Negras) for a short hike. We continue our day visiting the Calandula Falls Viewpoint.
- Accommodation: at Pousada Calandula.
Day 8: Return to Luanda
- In the morning we hike the base of the waterfalls for a different view then start our way back to Luanda after breakfast.
- Accommodation: Ilha Mar Hotel.
Day 9: End of tour and Drop Off
- You will get dropped off either at airport or at your hotel.
